- rewriting wordy phrases,
- checking the use of passive voice,
- deleting unnecessary words,
- tightening the argument,
- reducing the average sentence length,
- drafting phrases or sentences to ensure a smooth flow,
- adding substantive introductions to quotations,
- forming the deep-issue statement,
- adding a powerful conclusion, and
- checking citation format.
When you request this service, I can also apply my document design recommendations. I also run a conflict check for my legal-editing services. We will sign a service agreement so that your client’s information and attorney work-product information is protected. Because you, the attorney, will supervise the work, I can offer these services to attorneys in any state.
